Participating Retailers

Retailers provide the critical "raw material" for the service by allowing LGI to extract point-of-sale watch transaction data, which gets aggregated with data from thousands of stores across the country. Retailers representing over 7000 stores across the US are already providing data on a monthly basis to LGI. As of December 2006 participating retailers have provided point-of-sale transaction data for Time Tracker™ representing over $6 billion dollars at MSRP in merchandise. Based on current participants the Time Tracker™ retailer panel represents over 85% of Institutional storefronts, and over 45% of Guild storefronts. These levels of retailer participation coupled with the extensive LGI Network retailer audits provide a degree of retailer coverage well above industry averages for this type of service. The panel reflects an appropriate balance along several dimensions including geographic dispersion, channel mix (e.g., chain vs. department stores), and product line mix.
